LPF staff and volunteers conducted a One-Day Cholera Awareness Campaign in Kumshe, near Lamisula Police Station in Maiduguri, Borno State. This initiative was a response to the cholera outbreak that has resulted in fatalities in the state.
Cholera awareness is crucial for helping communities understand the risks, prevention methods, and necessary actions to take in response to cholera, a highly contagious fecal-oral disease that can cause severe dehydration and be fatal if untreated.
