Lindii Peace Foundation (LPF) is a Non-Profit and Non-governmental Organization in Nigeria which was registered as a corporate body with the Corporate Affairs Commission on the Eleventh (11^th) day of July, 2014.

The foundation was formed by some eminent survivors of the Insurgency in North-east Nigeria and a few well-meaning Individuals who came together with a vision to see Nigeria a poverty free place where peace will abide and humanity can live freely in harmony

We are of the view that evil thrives not necessarily because it is the ultimate but because rational people choose to do only little, thus allowing the balance to tilt negative.

LPF was birthed from the commitment of the co-founder who aimed to alleviate the suffering of the people of North-East Nigeria where she hails from.

We pride in our engagement with the rehabilitated victims as part of our team. In other words, communication between us and our target communities is fluent, the sequence leading to their revival and successful post-traumatic life, stays as a real time model which we employ to help subsequent beneficiaries who accept and welcome us always

In other to accomplish a mission, we developed some specific objectives which will guide our intervention in the lives of our target Communities. They include the following:

• To combat severe poverty in our Communities with our humanitarian intervention.
• To come to the aid of vulnerable persons such as women and Children who are victims of violence/abuse and in excess capacity, other victims of violence.
• To Advocate and promote peaceful coexistence in the hearts of Citizens
• To promote human rights and advocacy for child education and literacy.
• To contribute to the fight against gender discrimination.

As a Foundation that is poised with a passion to advocate for peace and support the needy, our advocacy is channeled towards installing a platform for peaceful coexistence in the minds of citizens, thus healing the land with a shift in paradigm of an entrenched embittered/oppositional mind set. On the other hand, our Humanitarian and Developmental functions are aimed at reducing the impact of acute poverty amongst communities of unrest and natural disaster.
