Lindii Peace Foundation (LPF) successfully distributed Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Non-Food Items (NFIs) in Bama and Dikwa Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Borno State. This initiative aimed to improve hygiene conditions and reduce the risk of waterborne diseases among vulnerable populations affected by conflict and displacement.

The intervention targeted internally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees, and vulnerable host community members, focusing on households with pregnant women, lactating mothers, children under five, elderly individuals, and persons with disabilities.
This distribution complements LPF’s ongoing efforts in borehole rehabilitation, chlorination, disinfection, and flood control measures in Dikwa and Bama, contributing to improved WASH conditions and public health outcomes in the region.
