
Lindii Peace Foundation (LPF), in partnership with ZOA, held a project exit meeting with key government stakeholders, humanitarian actors, and community representatives on 4 February 2025 at the Monguno Local Government Secretariat, Borno State, to formally conclude the Integrated Lean Season Emergency WASH and Health Response project in Monguno LGA.
The meeting was attended by the Director of Primary Health Care, the Chairman of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), the Local Government Disease Surveillance and Notification Officer (DSNO), the Humanitarian Desk Officer, the Chairman of Persons with Special Needs, and representatives of partner organizations, including the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and Première Urgence Internationale (PUI).

The engagement provided an opportunity to review project achievements, reflect on implementation challenges, and document lessons learned through inclusive dialogue and stakeholder feedback. Discussions highlighted the importance of coordination, accountability, and sustainability in emergency response, ensuring that the perspectives of local authorities, partners, and communities informed the project close-out process and future programming.
